Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Scanning the QR Code

The first step for customers is to engage with the BonusQR system:

• The customer scans the QR code available in your store using their smartphone.
• Alternatively, the customer can open the BonusQR application, click on the QR code icon, and show their unique QR code to the staff.

Step 2: Staff Scans the Customer's QR Code

When paying, the staff needs to:

• Open the QR code scanner on their system.
• Scan the customer's unique QR code and enter the bill amount.

Both the customer and the staff will receive a notification about successful participation.

Step 3: Accumulating Cashback

In the loyalty system:

• The customer will see that the amount in his loyalty account has been increased by a percentage of the bill amount.

Step 4: Using Accumulated Credit

At the next visit, if the customer wants to pay with accumulated credit:

• The customer clicks on the green cashback section titled "Your credit".
• A special QR code will pop up, and the customer needs to inform the staff that he wants to pay with credit and shows the staff the special QR code.

Step 5: Staff Processes the Payment

The staff will:

• Scan the special QR code.
• Enter the actual bill amount.

If the customer's credit balance is higher than the actual bill amount, both will receive a notification about a successful scan. The staff needs to nullify the bill at the cash register or apply a 100% discount. The amount of the current bill will be charged from the customer's credit balance.

Step 6: Handling Insufficient Credit

If the customer's credit balance is lower than the actual bill amount, both will receive a notification about an unsuccessful scan. The customer has to pay in another way but can show his loyalty QR code to accumulate more credit and try to pay with credit next time.
