Step 2: Staff Scans the Customer's QR Code
When paying, the staff needs to:
- Open the QR code scanner on their system.
- Scan the customer's unique QR code.
If the scan occurs within the restricted time period (if any), or if the discount offer has no time restriction, both the customer and the staff will receive a notification about the successful scan.
Step 3: Applying the Discount
In the loyalty system:
- The customer will see that the discount was applied.
- The staff must then apply the discount to the bill in the cash register.
Step 4: Repeating the Process
Every time a customer shows their QR code to the staff within the specified time period (if any), or if there is no time period specified, the loyalty system will notify them about the discount being applied.
